Ruins

Description: You already know my preferences for run down buildings but the special thing about this shooting is that the photographer took the pictures completely on chemical film without any post processing or retouching. Surely these pictures are not perfect but they have a strong authentic closeness. It may by hard to retrace but analog photos often appear more lifelike than digital ones.I wouldn't want to miss the advantages of digital photography but nevertheless it was interesting to work with technology that just a few years ago was the standard.Photographer: Thomas Naumann
