I have stocked the barn with fresh straw, because my boar is delivered today. Apparently he is not too much good anymore. I call Nica, so that she as a veterinarian can examine whether the boar is ready for slaughter. Of course, we slaughter it together and have a little dressage fun with the human pig beforehand. But then the time has already come. The mock slaughter begins and soon the boar is hanging wide-legged on the slaughter beam in the barn in front of us, ready to be shaved and slapped. Home slaughtering is as simple as that.
